Plenty of pace with Cobbo and Sailor's Rum up front, pressured by Pretty Slick and Prucia. PRESOCRATICS (1) resumes and brings strong form from the back of his previous campaign. Proven fresh and can race handy. COBBO (3) has won 2/3 this campaign, and it was comfortable from the front at Thangool last time. Missed a whisker here this trip prior and has been freshened. Has a low gate and will be hard to beat in this suitable race. ELECTRIC BRAE (7) didn't have the best of it here last time over 1300m but had been going okay prior. Has a handy 3kg claim and is a distance specialist who has to be kept onside. PRUCIA (8) won well at Moree and will push forward. Carries 4kg less here and deserves consideration. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Presocratics.
