Strong tempo with Silver Cliff and Alero leading from Raikoke and Frose. ALERO (3) narrowly on top. He's racing well, showing speed last time at Caulfield when only run down late in another good effort. This is technically a rise in grade to BM78 company but it doesn't look much harder and he gets in well from an ideal gate. RAIKOKE (1) did enough fresh in a much tougher sprint behind subsequent G1 winner Jigsaw. He's right up in the weights now but 1400m is fine and he has the class. SALSA FELLOW (2) has been going okay without winning this time in. He goes 1100m to 1400m but has been close up in a couple of runs at the trip and can be charging late. LUNA CAT (4) hasn't won in a while but was good in a decent race at Caulfield last time and she has won twice at 1400m. SUGGESTED PLAY: Alero to win.
