Duke Of Bedford and Flashlight can set an even tempo. DUKE OF BEDFORD (4) was well fancied last time but found one better at Echuca, finishing 0.8 lengths adrift at the end of 2124m. Will appreciate the extra ground and will be fitter again. He can win this on his way to a likely steeplechase campaign. FLASHLIGHT (1) brings solid middle distance form and likes to position handy. Rawiller reunites today, and on what we've seen, he will run it right out. LANE CHANGER (8) came from the back and was only beaten 1.6L over 2124m at Echuca. In a top barn and is well seasoned for the staying trip. GIFT OF ORATORY (5) just missed this track/trip two back and Coffey is back on. Gets a soft run and has to be considered. DEALT (2) has been struggling for form in NSW and has been switched south by the premier stable on a 30-day return. Was well in the market over this distance at Kembla Grange the latest and was never a factor. Is likely to show more. SUGGESTED PLAY: Duke Of Bedford to win.
