Lots of speed predominantly from Texas Open, Travelon Dory and My Inspiration.
MINKS WRITTEN (6) was a different horse when fresh from a six-month spell over this trip at Wagga last start, making a long run from back in the field to score with authority. Enjoys a cosy run again from an inside draw so another win is not out of the question. GO COMMANDO (3) has been handy enough at the corner but faded in the run home in his two runs this prep, both over 1200m. Back to 1000m with blinkers on is an appealing scenario. Watch for a far more resilient performance. Speedy filly TRAVELON DORY (4) led all the way to win her maiden two back at Canberra then tried the same thing at the Sapphire Coast more recently but was cut down late. Very honest and will give them something to catch. SIZZLEIST (2) is deep into her maiden campaign but continues to perform. Closed hard but missed by a long neck over this distance at Albury last time. Back in grade and worth plenty of thought. DOUBTFREE (9) resumes. Doesn't win out of turn but from gate one is a contender. SUGGESTED PLAY: Minks Written each-way.
