GOING: S(5)

OTT Showcase Race Day April 26th Class 1 Handicap 1400m

Track: GOOD 4   Rain (Max: 8)   Rail: +4m Entire. (Pent: 4.47)

A strong tempo is assured with Ice Crystal and Genuine Lady leading the charge. GENUINE LADY (4) was a determined maiden winner last time out, leading and scoring by half a length over 1400m at Launceston. Nicely drawn and keeps the leading hoop. Gives herself every chance and won't have to improve much to take the next step. BLOOMING EDGE (3) has been racing over longer and comes back 200m on a 3-week return. Has ability and no surprise to see him hit the line hard. ARGYLL DIAMOND (5) has pieces of form good enough and deserves another chance over the longer sprint. Will race forward and should give a sight. ALPINE HONEY (1) comes back from the synthetic on a 34-day freshen and has been kept up to the mark with a turf trial. Can't be dismissed on his best form. WILD NIGHTS (9) may be the best of the remainder. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Genuine Lady.
