Plenty of pace from Lord Ley Line, Wide Kant and Four Side Nine matching motors ahead of Roys Peak. LORD LEY LINE (1) booted up from a low draw to lead last start and went on to score by a neck at this track over 1400m. Reunites with H Yoshihara which is a proven winning combination. Should be in the finish. ECORO FALCON (2) was always well back over this course and distance last time and never threatened in the straight, beaten 8 lengths into seventh. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. FOUR SIDE NINE (6) bounced straight into a handy position from the inside draw before finishing fourth last time out over 1600m at this track. Must be included among the main hopes. NIXON TESORO (7) settled well back and never threatened when eighth over 1400m at this track last time out. Has his share of ability and can do a lot better.
