HAKUSAN ANTARES (5) sat just off the speed and fought on well to finish second when resuming last start at this course and distance. Winning rider Taiga Kurihara sticks. Will strip fitter so expect him to feature. ISAMU DIAMOND (6) resumed from a spell last start with a sound second over 1400m at this track. Nicely placed to go one better. JAVERT (3) has been in the money at both runs this campaign, finding the line strongly last time to finish third over 1500m at this track. Fitter and among the main hopes. CRAPE MYRTLE (7) turned in a strong performance first-up when in the money at this track but disappointed last time when sixth, beaten 14 lengths, at this track over 1500m. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
