Has been winding up strongly and looks tough to hold out. SONIC STEP (10) ran a bold race over this journey last start, racing on the pace and sticking on strongly to finish 5 lengths away in second at this track. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. ASK GAMBARE (5) finds it hard to win with just one success from 11 starts. Was again denied last start when he found one better over 1900m at Chukyo Dirt. Won't find this as tough so he is one of the main contenders. MOZU PREVAIL (9) finished fifth over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt at his most recent appearance on January 18. Definite top-three chance.
