Craiglea Etna and Esjay to take up the running at a decent tempo. ESJAY (2) won twice and then found Doomben too tough before an okay effort at Gatton heavily bet. Probably had excuses and is suited today with the 2kg claim. The right race to get back on track. THE DEPUTY (4) resumes and is 2/4 fresh. He maps well and is up to this. The betting will be key. GROOVIN' THE MOO (1) was close up in town and then led winning a CL5 at Rockhampton. The 2kg claim is handy and he'll be hard to peg back. The returning ORPHAN'S TRUST (6) is also in the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Esjay.
