Certain to be a strong tempo with Lovegrass, Nettleton and Golden Aspen leading the charge. NETTLETON (2) tried hard when second here over this trip last time out. She is the stable elect with S'manga Khumalo retaining the ride. The blinkers have been re-fitted and from her good draw, she should be the one to beat. GOLDEN ASPEN (3) produced a strong finish when third over 1400m at the Vaal last start. She likes it here and should be right in the mix again. LOVEGRASS (1) should have finished closer to the winner last time as she had to be steadied at the 150m mark. It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. She would not be a shock winner. PHANTOM EXPRESS (4) is better than her last start as she was reported to be coughing. She has been in the money in both of her starts on this course and can bounce straight back into the money here.
