Little early pressure with Shihab, Spieth Heroine and Pacific Beauty prominent. SPIETH HEROINE (1) made good late ground to pick up a minor prize over 1400m at this track four weeks ago. Should be right up to the mark after a recent trial. Top contender who won't mind the extra trip. BEN'S CHAMPION (2) did a great job to score by a nose over this course and distance last start in a much better run. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role again. PACIFIC BEAUTY (5) had been racing well with three consecutive top three finishes before last start managing only seventh over 1800m at this track. Yet to win this track and distance but has recorded three minor placings from four attempts. One of the main contenders. EMPOWERING (6) comes here following a win over 1800m at this track two weeks ago, getting home by a neck. Capable of playing a big role.
