The Coolakin King and Salchino to take up the running at a decent tempo. GO GO GRACIE (3) appreciated the drop in class when winning fresh up for a new trainer at Carnarvon at long odds but could not back that run up as favourite in a similar field there last week and could have found 1400m a touch too far. She returns to 1200m and can make amends. Follow your money. ORTUM KRISP (4) has been racing consistently over the winter months and was runner-up at Carnarvon nearly 3 weeks ago over 1400m. She has a superior gate this time and it would be no surprise to see her go one better. FRIES WITH THAT (2) seldom runs a bad race at this level and was second as favourite at Broome 4 weeks ago. He has a senior hoop back in the irons this time and is good enough to take this out. SUPER SALSA (1) is very hard to catch and showed what he is capable of when leading all the way at Carnarvon 7 days ago. He faces a similar field but is up 4kg in weight. If his mind is on the job then he is always an each-way chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Go Go Gracie to win.
