A strong gallop is likely with Intenso and Band Master taking up the running, closely attended by Over The Dream and Nobori Clever. OVER THE DREAM (16) was comfortably accounted for when fourth last time out over 1700m at Sapporo Dirt, beaten 3 lengths. That followed a win at the same venue at the previous outing. The engagement of Ryusei Sakai is a positive move. Beautifully placed and is sure to bounce back to form. BAND MASTER (1) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on June 22, finishing eighth and beaten 16 lengths over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt. Has a decent record at this trip with four minor placings from five tries and shapes as a key contender. QUARTZITE (8) finished 4.5 lengths behind the winner in seventh over 1700m at Sapporo Dirt last start after lifting strongly to score two back. Hard to beat on her form from two starts ago. INTENSO (14) comes here off a break of nine weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1700m at Kokura Dirt. Can make his presence felt.
