Genuine tempo with Fiddle Faddle and Lucky Cat battling for early supremacy. ANGE HARDI (1) was 1.75 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1500m at Sapporo last time following a minor placing on debut the run before. Perfectly drawn and is expected to prove tough to beat. CAFE ROYAL (5) turned in a moderate effort on debut last start when sixth at Niigata Dirt over 1200m, beaten 6 lengths. Watch for a much better performance this time. LOVE STINGER (2) missed the placings on debut two starts back then ran a better race and finished 6 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1400m at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects. FIDDLE FADDLE (7) sat on the pace on debut last start but faded late to finish sixth over 1800m at Niigata. Could sneak into the finish with some natural improvement likely.
