Guided Muscle and Comanche North will press forward early in a keen battle for top spot. KONG (2) was heavily-backed to make a winning debut for the new stable and things did not play out well in the run, but still finished off nicely. Huge chance to go one better here. FIRM AS A ROCK (9) should be fitter after three runs back from a spell and is drawn to get a lovely run. SLATE RIPPER (8) was poor last start but was a model of consistency prior to that and should again be around the mark. THEO'S CHOICE (3) was a winner three starts back and is a top-three chance at least on a repeat of that effort. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kong to win.
