A solid tempo anticipated with T M Listed and Kazu Gortys engaging in an early battle ahead of Bi Eye and Peptide Tiger.
T M LISTED (1) started warm favourite when resuming last start over this course and distance but found one better. Has raced second-up twice before and won both times, most recently over today's journey at Kyoto Dirt in June. Won't spend a penny from the inside draw and is clearly the one to beat. KAZU GORTYS (2) has a similar record to T M Listed and also comes here second-up. Opened this campaign with a decisive all-the-way win here at this trip three weeks ago. Doesn't always perform as well at the second run back but from a good gate he is sure to play a major role again. BATUQUE (5) is an honest four-year-old resuming from a three-month spell. Came with a powerful finish to score over 1200m at the start of the last campaign. Cannot be taken lightly. PEPTIDE TIGER (3) also resumes. Generally needs a run to find his best but an 80% top-three strike rate from ten starts at this distance is a compelling stat.
