LITTLE PROPHET (4) is edging her way back into form. Closed well last start but found a couple better over 1450m at Kempsey. Raced at this quirky track once and filled a placing. Gets in nicely on 55.5kgs and is ready to peak. Bold front runner WILDERNESS STAR (6) led but couldn't hold on when runner-up over 1605m at Taree last time out. Back in trip which is a query but from the good gate she should be right on the speed and prove tough to catch. CASSIA LANE (2) was ridden closer to the pace at her latest run and battled on well for third over the mile at Coffs Harbour. Handy mare who just needs luck from a tricky draw to be highly competitive. AUZSTAR (1) led and held off GOBBLED (3) by half a length when they clashed over 1450m at Kempsey recently. They meet on similar terms today so expect the pair to give good accounts. SUGGESTED PLAY: Little Prophet to win the Cup.
