Expecting a very strong tempo with lots of early pressure, predominantly from Daunting Decision, Scudetto and Angelique. DAUNTING DECISION (2) fought on strongly to hold second at Katherine last start after setting the pace and though she had no chance with that winner that day she did stick to her task gamely. She will still be on the up with her fitness and is good enough to take them all of the way this time. SIBERIAN LARCH (1) followed up a solid resuming run for fourth with a soft win here 3 weeks ago when racing out of his class. He will find this no harder and only has to carry 2kg more in weight after a claim. Go again. SCUDETTO (4) has changed stables since his last start here 9 weeks ago and has the benefit of drawing in the pole position. He usually races close to the pace and is worth each-way consideration fresh-up. A market watch is advised. ANGELIQUE (5) is looking for her first local win and was fifth in a much stronger field here 8 weeks ago. She is better suited to 1000m and can figure in the top 3 this time. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siberian Larch each-way.
