Pace strong from High Tide going forward with Lord Liberacion kicking up to hold the fence. DUNKELD (10) was well in the market on debut last time out and ran well but found one better over 1600m at Niigata. Has upside and looks perfectly placed to open his account. LORD LIBERACION (1) will find this a little easier than his third on debut four weeks ago, beaten 2.75 lengths at the end of 1800m at Sapporo. Drawn to enjoy a lovely run so a big performance is anticipated. NISHINO KOIBUMI (5) is a three-start maiden who could only manage to finish fourth at her latest appearance over 1400m at Niigata. Worth including in this suitable contest. TWIN PEAKS (4) settled well back from the inside draw last start before coming home nicely to finish sixth over 1400m at Niigata. The extra ground looks a big plus. Among the chances.
