Plenty of early pressure from Singing Star and Reigning King battling for the lead over Smashing Rosie. REIGNING KING (2) is posting classy results in strong races but does have plenty to do with a wide draw. Handy sprinter with genuine claims again. AKAKA FALLS (1) has been a solid career performer whilst maintaining an outstanding fresh record. Recent trial winner with a low draw and a three-kilo claim. Right in the mix as always. FLORIDA SKY (3) is a speedy mare who is always hard to beat on home surroundings. Carries four kilos less this time and expect another competitive effort at a trip that suits. SMASHING ROSIE (10) showed early bloom in her debut campaign and was close-up in a recent trial suggesting further improvement. No surprise to see her in the thick of it first up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Reigning King win.
