Expecting Shasfa to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. MASTER BUDDHA (1) has not won for some time and is usually better off over longer trips than 1000m but he is sliding down further in class from his last run at Broome 4 weeks ago and with some gear changes, he gets his chance to bounce back into the money. Stick with him. RAGING BEAUTY (8) has found it hard to win another race and usually takes a run before hitting her straps. She has been placed on this track in the past which is a distinct advantage and she can not be ruled out of a top 3 finish. HOT NOVA (6) has changed stables since last racing and though she is out of form, she will find this a lot easier than any of her last few starts. A form reversal is on the cards. SHASFA (3) will be peaking third up and will notice the drop down in class here. A wide draw is no help but a win is not out of the question. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hot Nova each-way.
