FEARLESS WARRIOR (1) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing fourth and only 1.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 1400m after being prominent at the turn. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. SALAMENCE (3) knuckled down strongly to get within one length of the winner in third last start over 1400m at this track. Leading player again. BOSS NINE NINE (6) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fourth over 1200m at this track. Best figures measure up nicely. Can do a lot better. MASTER PLAYER (8) finished fourth over 1000m on the all-weather when resuming last start, beaten only 1.75 lengths. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
