Only a small field with Oden Ruby likely to find a comfortable lead. ODEN RUBY (2) ran well on debut last start to finish second over 1400m at this track in a tougher race. Promising type with improvement to come so another big run is anticipated. HEIMLICH KAISER (7) has been in the betting at both starts but has failed to break through. Most recently finished fourth over 1400m at this track. Nicely placed to get off the mark this time. NASTRO (5) had support on debut last time out but only managed third over 1400m at this track. Same rider Masaya Matsudo aboard again and everything points towards a big run. PRI CHAN (1) was fifth in a 1400m contest at this track at her latest appearance. Finds a nice race and can crack the top three.
