Cracking early tempo with Delilah and Pacific Sonic leading the way. LUCKY HERO (3) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at this track. Couldn't follow that up last time out when sixth over 1200m here, beaten 4 lengths. Likely improver with strong prospects. DELILAH (7) turned in a modest performance when tenth last time out over 1400m on turf, beaten a long way after being in the firing line on the corner. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Worth another chance. FAST AND FEARLESS (2) finished 2.25 lengths from the winner in fifth last start over 1000m at this track, an improvement on his ninth here the run before. Nicely placed to take this out. COMMANDER JONES (8) ran below expectations last time on turf, finishing sixth and beaten 3 lengths. Better than that.
