Good pace headed by Loken, Bold And Smooth and Break Free, with Beachside Babe and Masterplan close by. Open race to close out the card. The penny has dropped for ENCOURAGED (4) who has won two of three this campaign including one over this track and trip when resuming. Gets 2kg off with the claim and another strong performance would not shock. BREAK FREE (7) wasn't too far off them in Group 3 company before the spell and the two wins prior to start the career were full of merit. Cannot be discounted while fresh. BOLD AND SMOOTH (6) comes into the inside alley now and gets 3kg off. Will be at peak fitness and has to be included in calculations. FIREFORCE (8) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Encouraged to salute.
