Regal Zeus, Lim's Saltoro and Oscar's Fortune can set the pace. JIMMY THE BEAR (3) and LIM'S SALTORO (4) both come through a strongly run race won by War Machine. That form has held up beautifully with War Machine since a G3 winner and your current G1 Stradbroke Handicap favourite. Both Jimmy & Lim were first up, Jimmy was the better run and suited to a mile. No knock on the former Singaporean Lim's Saltoro though, he sat close to the speed and tried hard. Hard to knock his overseas record and happy to back in the pair of them. REGAL ZEUS (2) wasn't bad chasing Pride Of Jenni two back, solid again at Flemington. He's better suited around this circuit. VERDAD (7) is going well, dropping 6kg from a BM84 win last time out. He doesn't want it too wet. OSCAR'S FORTUNE (1) has been solid out to 1400m his past two. Not sure he wants a mile but if he relaxes and goes a bit slower he could see it out.
