SOUTHERN SCANDAL (2) has thrived since joining the Graeme Hammarquist stable and made it 2 wins from 4 starts from that yard when scoring here by over 7 lengths a fortnight ago. She has to carry an extra 4.5kg but won't find this any harder, and should be the one to beat again. DRAGONFLIES (1) is a lightly tried 10-year-old gelding who won twice on this track at the backend of his last campaign during the winter last year. He has been off the scene since then, but has won the most recent of his 3 tune-up trials. Use the market as your best guide. WAR TACTICS (4) was doing his best work late when resuming with a sixth here a fortnight ago. The extra furlong will help him, and he can run into the money this time. DREAM ILLUSION (3) had a tough run fresh up but was still too good for his maiden rivals, scoring by over a length. A 2kg claim will mean that he carries a kilo less this time, and another bold run is expected. HEARTFORD HOUSE (6) will be at peak fitness now. Don't risk him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Southern Scandal to win.
