Genuine tempo from Vesper Lynd leading Hasana.
VESPER LYND (7) has been trying to win a race for some time and has since changed stables after a modest effort fifth on the Gold Coast poly track nearly 3 weeks ago. She now calls Toowoomba home, and back on a turf surface, she can bounce straight back into the money. GERALDINE'S WISH (4) missed the kick and then recovered well to make up a lot of late ground to finish third fresh up on this track 4 weeks ago. If she gets it right early on, then she can take this out. HASANA (5) was beaten by a short head at Ipswich on debut and then just battled last time out over 870m when looking for more ground. She has a good draw and is worth another chance. Each way. KOBE ASCOT (3) is a consistent maiden who will be resuming from a new stable. A quieter barn can sometimes help, and he is worthy of each-way consideration, especially if the money comes for him. MIDNIGHT MIRACLE (10) is an ex-Victorian making his debut from the powerful Mark Currie stable. The market will tell the story. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hasana each way.
