Beejay Boy is the likely leader and should be able to get there comfortably. FAMOUS DAIN (3) bolted in two back at Albany and wasn't far away when an odds-on favourite last start at Belmont. Pike sticks with the gelding and the extra 100m doesn't look an issue. Maps for a similar run to his past couple of outings and he can return to winning form. GRAND RESERVE (1) sat up on the speed at this track last start and proved too strong, winning by 0.3L. This is a much tougher race, but he can be prominent in the run once again and he's been close at this level previously. Can go back-to-back. DUCHEES DEMERIT (6) wasn't far away last start when only 1.6L off the winner and ahead of Famous Dain. He's a track and trip winner previously and if he runs up to his recent form, he'll be hard to hold out. I'M NIPOTE (5) has only been fair his past couple and jumps right up in trip now. May be looking for this and is not to be discounted. DENNIS CHOUX (2) is another right up in trip now and has claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Famous Dain can return to winning ways.
