Genuine tempo with the speedy Extreme Virtue leading the way. Another open race. EXTREME VIRTUE (1) comes back in class from a pleasing first up effort here, working home well for third. She's a handy mare with a strong overall record and with any added fitness she should prove awfully hard to beat. STYLISH (4) beat a handy one herself first up at Bendigo with a 'stylish' win, charging through a late gap to come clear. Slight rise in trip suits, she will need a good ride from a potentially awkward gate. CINEMATIC STAR (10) didn't have the best of luck here last time from barrier two in the same race as Extreme Virtue. Likely gets back from the draw here but will be running on. MATAWAI (5) is a consistent type also through the Extreme Virtue race. She can settle in a better spot from the gate. STARCHIENNE (8) brings some slightly more 'off broadway' form but has been running home strongly late and can surprise. SUGGESTED PLAY: Extreme Virtue to win.
