"NOR WEST LOUISA BAY" TOP CATCHER HANDICAP 1000m Track: GOOD Rail: True. |

---|---|---|---|---|
A solid tempo on the cards with The Coolakin King leading the way. AND THEN WHAT (4) is a lightly tried 5-year-old gelding who probably has more upside than his rivals. Both of his wins have been on this circuit, and he was a big winner off a wide trip fresh up here 2 weeks ago. The concussion plates come off, which is a very good sign, and he can win again. THE COOLAKIN KING (6) set the pace here 2 weeks ago and did not find much when headed before the home straight. He might have needed that run, and is worth another chance in this. Each way. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE (1) gave a good kick here last start when contesting the pace, and was only claimed late, finishing second behind the top pick. He has 1.5kg less to carry this time, thanks to a claim, and should be very competitive again. UNDERCOVER SNIPER (5) finished third in a tougher grade here last time out and is nicely placed with a drop in class here. He is not too badly treated at the weights and should be among the hardest to beat again. ENTICING (7) is usually thereabouts and is worth including. SUGGESTED PLAY: And Then What to win.
