Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Curiosidad. SYDNEY HOBART (1) kicked off this campaign with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when third over 2100m at Tokyo Dirt, beaten 6 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. LEVANT UNIVERS (6) disappointed at his last run nine weeks ago when fourth at Nakayama Dirt, that effort following back-to-back wins. Opened last prep with a minor placing over 1800m at this track. Capable of testing this field. ECORO SPADA (9) lines up for just the third time and has been in the money at both runs, the latest here over 1800m on 26 April. Can improve enough to take this out. SCHALKHAFT (5) has been thereabouts since getting off the mark three runs back, the latest effort a second over 2100m at Tokyo Dirt. Must include.
