Strong pace with Crepusculum and Meiner Traum driving across from their wide draws. NEPOTISM BABY (8) returned last time with a solid third at Nakayama over 2000m, making up many lengths in the run home. Nicely placed to go a couple better. CREPUSCULUM (11) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of six months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 2000m at Nakayama. Good effort to kick-off last prep when in the money at Fukushima over 2000m. Has ability and is a solid chance. MEINER TRAUM (16) was prominent at the corner and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 2000m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Has his share of talent. COSMO ACHIEVE (4) hit the frame two starts ago at Nakayama but ran below par last time when 14th and beaten 18 lengths over 2600m at Fukushima. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
