Summer Flame, Liberty State and Weeping Woman to battle for the lead at a strong tempo. Absolute lottery. MONTE KATE (6) raced on the speed then pulled out plenty to score last start over this distance in a Midway at Gosford. Faces a deeper race today and might not get much peace up front but with further improvement in store she is a nice bet at odds. PAJANTI (7) has been kept fresh since savaging the line to get up for second when resuming over this trip at Randwick five weeks ago. Excellent wet tracker who poses the biggest threat. TOTOKA (15) was outclassed in the Denise's Joy at Scone a fortnight ago after a couple of strong lead-up performances. Can bounce back in this company. The sparingly raced SUMMER FLAME (22) sprung an upset first-up at Listed level. Has room to improve and can prove that was no fluke. SUGGESTED PLAY: Monte Kate each-way.
