Fast pace assured with Guy Gibson, Un Bel Di and Actor leading the charge. BOURBON WARRIOR (6) should have finished closer to the winner last time. He was squeezed leaving the start and hung inwards in the closing stages. He gets the blinkers fitted for the first time which should keep his mind on the task at hand. He takes a drop in class and with luck in the running, he can return to winning form. UN BEL DI (5) has good consistent form lines to his credit. If taking to this course, he should throw out a big challenge to the top selection. GUY GIBSON (3) was running on when fourth over 1160m at Turffontein last time. He finished third in his only attempt over this course and distance. Andrew Fortune retains the ride and he should be competitive. ISIVIVANE (15) ran sixth last start at Greyville over 1600m. Talented gelding with plenty of upside and is well worth considering.
