Will enjoy a drop in class so he is a major player. WHISTLING STRAITS (4) held on well to finish second last start over 1000m at Gunnedah, beaten 1.1 lengths when resuming. Finds the right race this time and can discover winning form. PRINCE OF SEPANG (1) got the prize two runs ago at Binnaway. Less impressive last time out when fourth over 1100m at Mudgee, beaten 3.5 lengths. Has the ability to produce another win. NYALI SANDS (2) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at Gosford, beaten 4.5 lengths. Fitter so can figure in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lord Protector to go close.
