Strong tempo assured with Redwood Ransom and Mystery Minute leading the way over Le Troy.
REDWOOD RANSOM (1) missed the kick last time out and did not get into the race in the hands of a 4kg claiming apprentice. He is usually at his best when racing in front or close to the pace. He has senior hoop Peta Edwards in the saddle this time, and though he is still a maiden at 9 years old, he will have few better chances than this to finally crack a win. MYSTERY MINUTE (8) set the pace and was only run down late, fresh up for a new trainer here a fortnight ago. He has a tougher gate this time, but can go one better in this field. BOLTCO JACK (3) resumes from a spell and will find this easier than any race he had last year. If he doesn't need the run, then he can make his presence felt. Use the market as your best guide. LE TROY (2) fought on well enough fresh up here 2 weeks ago. He strips fitter, and can figure in the top 3 this time. CASINO ROYALE (4) did not fire fresh up in a stronger field fresh up at Pinjarra-Scarpside just over 5 weeks ago. He has some rough place claims. SUGGESTED PLAY: Redwood Ransom to win.
