Strong tempo with Alethia, Go On Purpose and Queen Hapi leading the charge. THROUGH THE NIGHT (9) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 1800m at Niigata Dirt. Yuichi Kitamura has registered two minor placings when on board and keeps the mount. Sure to play a big role. QUEEN HAPI (3) stepped out for her debut over 1800m at Kyoto back on November 17 and finished fifth, beaten 5.5 lengths. Big chance with race experience now on board. ALETHIA (8) fought on well for third last start over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt, making it two minor placings from as many starts. Likely to play a major role. KORONIS (2) went forward last time but couldn't quicken in the run home and finished fourth over 1900m at this track. Among the better chances in what looks a nice race.
