Oriental Smoke has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. FLYING LUCK (9) has had a quiet trial since a narrow defeat over 1800m most recently. He drops back to the mile this time off that freshen, but his record here prior was very solid. Visors replace the blinkers and the ear muffs coming off is a big tick. Can get back to winning ways. MAGNIFICENT NINE (7) has been around the mark in recent efforts, beaten 3L here most recently. Atzeni hops on board now from a good gate and he maps to get his chance. Drops slightly in weight and should be in the finish if he can run up to recent efforts. ORIENTAL SMOKE (14) was a good winner last start over 1800m and drops in weight today as he rises in grade. He rates highly off that effort however and he has the speed to roll across from out wide. Can give a bold sight. WINNING GOLD (1) was too strong from up on the speed last start and can go on with the job.
