Genuine tempo with the speedy Sir Goldalot leading the way. SIR GOLDALOT (4) made his local debut and was only caught in the final stride here 3 weeks ago and has been back to the trials since then. The extra 425m will be no problem, and with 3kg less to carry this time, he can see it through to the end. PREFER TO DANCE (2) is knocking on the door for that first win and has finished runner-up in 3 of his last 4 starts. A good draw will help, and with the run in transit, he will be right in the finish again. AOOM'S CHOICE (7) is having no luck with her barrier draws this year and is better than her last run suggests. She cops another wide gate and only needs the gaps to come at the right time, to figure in the finish. Stick with her. SOMAX (5) and PROCLAIMER (3) are both worth including in all combinations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sir Goldalot to win.
