Plenty of speed from Brilliant Spica and Tomono Crystal. TOMONO CRYSTAL (8) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1400m at this track. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. BRILLIANT SPICA (6) was well in commission last start over 1400m at Kawasaki when fourth, beaten 4 lengths. Worth another chance. SAUDADE (7) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last time over 1200m at Funabashi, beaten 4.5 lengths. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. KOKOMO ROSE (2) finished 9 lengths away in sixth at her last appearance over 1500m at this track on April 24. Worth plenty of thought.
