Plenty of early pace with Falcon Of Malta and Vail Mountain to vie for the lead, pressured by Sky Horse. FALCON OF MALTA (2) rates highly here third-up, coming off a strong run in a Vobis Gold Mile last start behind Belle Savoir over this trip at Caulfield. Should be able to roll forward again and take catching. CHARTRES (1) has had two runs back from a spell, solid last time in the same Vobis race. His best is certainly up to winning this. VAIL MOUNTAIN (6) is hard to knock having won his past three, the past two at BM64 level. Up in grade now but maps ideally and should prove hard to beat. JUCCONI (3) was just fair last time but did win at Caulfield prior and can bounce back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Falcon Of Malta to win.
