Strong tempo assured from Quein Step and Caelus leading the charge. EL QASABI (1) debuts and brings two sharp city trials. Jay Ford sticks from those and the colt maps for a soft run. He's promising, and this is winnable. QUEIN STEP (4) peaks off three placings at the track. Pushes forward and can fight out the finish. LIGHTLY SPARKLED (5) resumes and has trialled well at Kemba Grange. She has the inside barrier and 1,5kg claim, and has gone close in stronger races. Should be ready to go. WILD ANNIE (11) is in good hands and didn't have the best of it first-up. Better placed here, and quick improvement is on the cards. SUGGESTED PLAY: El Qasabi on what we've seen.
