Good tempo anticipated with Answering and Devil Devil leading the way. DEVIL DEVIL (3) resumed improved, winning a 58 here and then went to Mackay and just missed heavily bet. He will be fitter again, and it's hard to risk the potent Stanley-Taylor linkage. ANSWERING (6) has been busting to win, and his near miss at Mackay two back reads particularly well. Uses the rail and will give a sight on the quick backup. CUMIN SPINNER (7) resumes and brings a big trial win here. Maps well and has a handy 3kg claim. She was flying at the back of her previous preparation. LAST DITCH EFFORT (4) led, and wasn't far away here 8 days ago. Wiggins replaces the 3kg apprentice, and he should be in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Devil Devil.
