Anticipating good pressure with many of these lining up for the first time. Another hard race to line up with a number of first starters. JAGGERY (6) has hit the top-four at his past four starts and looks to be nearing that elusive maiden victory. Has placed two from two around this circuit and will strip fitter second-up from the spell. Rates the testing material of those with exposed form. PRESTAR (16) didn't measure up in Group 3 company on debut before being sent out for time to mature. Is sure to find this assignment much easier and gets Maloney on from the low draw. Expect a bold showing while fresh. VAREJAO (13) has gotten better with each career outing and Wilson-Taylor sticks in the stirrups. Top-three aspirations. FIRST EMPIRE (4) is at the races for the first time but has been thereabouts in both trials and any market confidence must be noted. BENT BRIDGE (3) has placed over this track and trip and gets some weight relief with the claim. In the mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Jaggery to break through.
