Solid tempo from Pyro Edition, Prolific Star and Golden Grey battling for the lead in a high-pressure contest. GOLDEN GREY (6) was only beaten a nose as the warm favourite last start over 1400m on the polytrack. He finished second over this course and distance in his penultimate run. With three second placings from his last four starts should be winning. GARDEN SUN (4) came home strongly from last at the turn to finish third in the same race as the top selection last start when sent out at long odds. Having his third run this prep so will strip a lot fitter and racing over 200m more in distance should be fighting out the finish. PROLIFIC STAR (3) ran a fair race to finish sixth of 10 over 1900m on this course last time. It must be noted that the horses that finished second and third that day have come out and won since. Drops back in distance and looks well placed to finish in the money. FIZZLY BUBBLY (5) improved last time out when finishing second of 10 over 1600m at Fairview All Weather after racing on the speed into the turn. Might struggle to win but can place.
