ROUGE VELVET (3) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish third over 1400m at this track. Suitably placed and may prove too good for these. KING DIAMOND (4) fought on well for second last start over 1230m at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Has the speed to be prominent from the outset and must be respected. POD JASPER (6) was in the money two starts back but couldn't back it up last time when sixth here over 1230m. Has a good record at this course and distance, including a win and two minor placings and can feature. GRAND LEI HEART (8) lifted strongly to score two back then was prominent in the run last time before finishing seventh over 1400m at this track. Sure to be thereabouts.
