Genuine tempo from Shinto Hanano Boss leading Raziation. SHINTO HANANO BOSS (3) returned to winning form last start, scoring by 2.5 lengths over this journey at this track. Has a sound record at this journey with a win and one minor placings. Top chance. RAZIATION (11) ran below expectations last time after being in the firing line on the bend at Kawasaki, finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths starting at $1.90. Meeting a deeper field this time but she deserves another chance. REIGNING CAT (5) finished fourth over 1500m at this track at his most recent appearance on March 18. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. SOUTH VILLE (2) started at $2.30 last time but could only manage seventh, beaten 5.5 lengths, at Kawasaki over 1400m. Naoki Machida who has scored on her two times retains the mount. Not to be discounted.
