Hot tempo expected from Bellagio Haruka and Tagano Diosa. BELLAGIO HARUKA (2) gets the narrow call on the strength of two honest 1400m efforts at Sonoda this campaign, most recently a third beaten a neck by Go Go Tsuyoshi after fighting hard late. The step to 1870m is the clear question, but her overall Sonoda record is strong enough to trust. TAGANO DIOSA (4) is the obvious danger after putting away Hernandez by three and a half lengths first-up, and her record at this track and distance gives her a serious platform. BLACK RAY (3) has not finished off his past two runs, yet he was respected in betting last start and gets another chance to convert his profile into a placing. MIYA GRIFFON (9) must rebound from a plain seventh, but her win over La Pousse D'Or two back keeps her in the mix if she improves over the longer trip.

That followed a sound second to Ho O Samret, when she led and was run down late. She is third-up, has an excellent Sonoda record and can make full use of her natural early position, though 1870m remains the main test. |

Two back he made no impression from well back behind Alan. The class drop and race fitness help, but the rise to 1870m leaves him looking more a place hope than a win anchor. |

Her two wins and one placing from three starts at this track and distance make her a major player again. |

The run prior was a fifth behind A Shin Animo over 1400m. She has placed twice from three starts at this track and distance, but her recent form still leaves her with improvement to find. |
