Strong pace as Farset pushes forward along with Lecan from an outside gate. BELLA WAHINE (7) has the strongest class reference, resuming after finishing down the track in the G2 The Roses at Doomben but was good before that in the Listed Gold Coast Bracelet. 1400m looks short of her best but this is a good kick-off point and Osmond's 2kg claim sets up a treat with two trials under her belt. Can make the perfect return. Stablemate MAQUISA (9) only warmed late first-up over 1200m and then had excuses last time at Ipswich, having struck interference and been held up. Fitter and will eat up the added trip. Key switch in Maloney too. LADY WINDERMERE (15) brings sharper recent form after leading pillar-to-post at the Gold Coast. Could look to cross again from out there and lead. CAPITAL CHORD (8) has only been warming late but strips fitter and is drawn to settle closer. Not underestimating. SWANFELS (12) has flashed home in two Ipswich runs. Fitter and drawn kinder. Including. Last-start winner FARSET (2) also warrants respect. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bella Wahine to win.
